I know it's been a long time since our last post and for many, it would appear that we have fallen off the map. There was of course reasons for this which we are now able to announce.
A month ago, we received the news that Raimondo & James (the owners of Whitechurch Lane) were planning on leaving the space. Over time, they had found that the area was not hospitable for public activities and due to safety threats and hostile behavior, the owners decided to abandon the project space.
This left Concurrent without a space which was of course a heavy blow to our programmed schedule. However we are still passionate about delivering what we set out to do and have since been bidding for new spaces. So far we have some promising leads but we will be sure to keep you updated on this.
We are pleased to say that we are still active in our activities however and will be participating in a talk this Thursday 29th at 7pm as part of Between 6. This event is run in the artists project space TwentyFor Harper Road, London SE1 6AD. Do join us if you can! Other speakers will be other artist run projects, creating an exciting exchange for the evening.
